Bookmarks
Note that since this site is constructed as a
training application that runs within an internet browser, using
your browser's Favorites or Bookmarks feature will only bookmark
the present module itself, not the place within the current
module you are attempting to save.
To bookmark your exact point within a module so you can return to exactly that point later, you must use the
"Bookmarks" button within the interface. After clicking the "Bookmarks" button, you
will see a screen similar to the one pictured below: |
|
Three things can be accomplished from this Bookmarks
screen. First, to set a bookmark, note that a suggested bookmark name appears at the top. This name will consist of the name of the subsection you are in followed by the date. You may either use this default name for your bookmark or overwrite it and use a name you choose. Names longer than 45 characters in length will be truncated to 45 characters. Once you have a name for your bookmark, click the "Set Bookmark" button.
Once you have set your bookmark, press either the "Return to Previous Frame" botton or the Step Back button in the lower navigation bar to resume.
Second, you also use the Bookmarks screen to return to a bookmark you had set earlier. A list of previously-set bookmarks appears on the lower two-thirds of the Bookmarks screen. To jump to a previously-saved bookmark, click it once to select it and then press the "Go to Selected Bookmark" button.
Third, you may delete a previously-saved bookmark. Select the bookmark to delete and then press the "Delete Selected Bookmark" button.

Pause
The Pause button freezes the presentation. When
you press it, each of the buttons on the lower navigation bar
will be greyed out, except for the Pause button itself.
When you want to resume the presentation, click the Pause button
again. If you were in a narrated section when you pressed Pause, the presentation will resume at the beginning of that sentence or paragraph.

a screen similar to this will be displayed: |

Click the link you would like to go
to. Or, you may click either "Return to Previous Screen" or
the Step Back button to return to the point from where you had
originally clicked the Section Contents button.
