Current internet browser software
Either Netscape Navigator 4.76 or newer or Internet
Explorer 5.0 or newer are required to use this training site.
The
Macromedia Shockwave plug-in
Only one plug-in is required to view the multimedia
content contained in this training site. You may link to the
download site for the Shockwave plug-in here.
Once you are finished downloading and installing the Shockwave
plug-in, you may need to quit and restart your internet browser
before continuing.
A reliable connection to the internet
The content of each of the training sections
are temporarily downloaded to your computer as you proceed through
them. A phone modem connection will probably be constantly active,
downloading the content of the current training section in the
background. Therefore, even though a high-bandwidth connection
to the internet is not required, it is recommended that you
use a connection not prone to disconnect frequently.
A multimedia-capable computer
· It is recommended that your computer have a Pentium II or higher processor (or comparable) with a speed of 300 Mhz or higher.
· The entirety of each of the training
sections contain narration and therefore a sound card
and speakers or headphones are required.
